Broadband for Seniors

Broadband for Seniors is a free service providing computer and internet skills training for Seniors aged 50+.

Training is conducted by volunteer tutors primarily on a “one to one” basis and paced to suit each trainee’s needs and skill level.

Training Sessions are held each Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 12noon, utilising the centre’s computers or the trainee’s own laptop or tablet computer linked to the free in-house wifi.  Trainees’ own computers are checked to ensure they have the appropriate security and malware software installed and activated.

On average, between 5 and 15 people attend each training session.

Tea and Coffee are provided free of charge.
